How heavy is a filled waterbed — will my floor handle it?
A filled waterbed spreads its weight across the whole frame and deck, so a normal residential floor handles it fine. If you're on an upper floor or unsure, call us and we'll talk it through.
Is a waterbed hard to set up?
Softside beds set up much like a regular mattress; hardside beds fill inside the frame. We include setup guidance and our team walks you through fill, heat, and conditioning — we do it every week.
Do I need a heater and conditioner?
Yes — a heater keeps the bed at a comfortable temperature and conditioner protects the vinyl and keeps the water clear. See “Complete your system” below for the matched parts.
