The Boyd 167 Pembrooke is a plush-top softside waterbed that fits an ordinary bed frame while giving you the conforming support of fluid flotation. Its natural-fiber cover and memory-foam comfort layer make it a good fit for sleepers who want a soft, contouring surface with adjustable firmness. A lumbar water chamber lets you fine-tune support to your own body.

How heavy is a filled waterbed — will my floor handle it?
A filled waterbed spreads its weight across the whole frame and deck, so a normal residential floor handles it fine. If you're on an upper floor or unsure, call us and we'll talk it through.
Is a waterbed hard to set up?
Softside beds set up much like a regular mattress; hardside beds fill inside the frame. We include setup guidance and our team walks you through fill, heat, and conditioning — we do it every week.
Do I need a heater and conditioner?
